World FM 88.5 Stamps it's Mark

World FM on 88.5 from Tawa, Wellington also recently issued it's own
promotional postage stamp.

I wonder how many other LPFM stations have now done the same. Great
way to get publicity!

Local listeners also get to hear World FM in stereo, and if you want
to tune them globally on-line you'll find them at www.worldfm.co.nz.

Rhode Street Radio 88.3

One of the nicest things about LPFM in New Zealand is that a growing
number of schools now have their own radio station.

It introduces kids to many future careers, involves the students,
teachers, parents and their communities, is entertaining, and
frankly, is grass roots radio at it's best, as it brings a new
generation of kids into contact with radio.

Shane Ngatai, principal [and proud of it] of Rhode Street School,
Dinsdale, Hamilton sends us the bright logo of Rhode Street Radio
88.3 FM. Check them out at www.rhodestreet.school.nz too.

Shane adds that the station recently featured on TV1 news. Well done!
